A Devon camping trip rarely leaves you short of ideas. The surf beaches of Croyde, Saunton Sands, and Woolacombe draw wave-riders from across the country, while the gentler waters of the South Hams are perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. Inland, the open granite tors of Dartmoor reward walkers with some of the finest open moorland in England. Day trips to the fishing villages of Salcombe, Dartmouth, and Clovelly give a taste of classic Devon charm, and the Eden Project is just over the county border into Cornwall.
